Donna Dunn loves musicals, though these days she’s more likely to be found at Mary Poppins than Les Miserables.
She shares her love of books with her 6- and 8-year-olds, and her love of words with her clients at Rhudy & Co.
A newspaperwoman for more than 15 years, Donna served as a features editor, assistant managing editor, Newspaper in Education coordinator and marketing director. She was the Employee of the Year for the Northern Virginia Daily in 1999, and has won dozens of awards from the Virginia Press Association, among others.
Donna has two degrees from James Madison University: a bachelor's in communication and a master's in public administration. She worked in the School of Media Arts and Design at JMU for three years, where she advised the student newspaper and taught feature magazine and newspaper production classes.
She’s also written for national and regional publications such as Home Life, MOMsense, Lynchburg Living and Madison magazines, and the Stepping Stones newsletter.
On the Rhudy & Co. team since 2008, Donna enjoys using her research skills and succinct storytelling in a host of print publications, Web sites and just about anywhere else they’ll let her write. Her goal — to make your copy sing.
